This Privacy Policy explains how KatalystQ collects, uses and protects your personal data when you visit this website or contact us. We keep it simple: we collect only what we need to respond to you and to work with your organisation, and we never sell your data.
1. Who we are
KatalystQ is a corporate learning consultancy founded by Jacqueline Jamasji. We design and deliver soft-skills workshops and POSH training for organisations. For this website, KatalystQ is the data fiduciary (the party responsible for your personal data). You can reach us at jacqueline.jamasji@gmail.com.
2. What we collect
Information you give us. When you use our enquiry form or email us, we collect your name, email address and anything you include in your message, such as your organisation, role, team size, learning needs or preferred times for a discovery call.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting provider records basic technical data when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you view. When you submit the form, some of this technical data is also checked by our spam filter (see section 5).
We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking tools on this website, and we do not ask for sensitive information. Please do not include details of any specific workplace complaint or incident in the enquiry form.
3. How we use your information
- To reply to your enquiry and arrange a discovery call
- To prepare proposals and deliver training your organisation has asked for
- To keep a record of our correspondence with you
- To protect the website from spam and misuse
We will not add you to a mailing list or send you marketing messages unless you have clearly asked us to.
4. Your consent
By submitting the enquiry form or emailing us, you consent to us using your personal data for the purposes above. You can withdraw your consent at any time by emailing us. Withdrawing consent does not affect anything we did with your data before you withdrew it.
5. Who we share it with
We do not sell or rent your personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us run this website and our business:
- GoDaddy, which hosts this website
- Akismet (Automattic), which checks form submissions for spam. Your name, email address, message, IP address and browser details are sent to Akismet for this check
- Google, which provides the email service we use to receive and answer enquiries, and the web fonts on this site (when a page loads, your browser requests fonts from Google, which receives your IP address)
We may also disclose personal data if the law requires us to. Our website links to our LinkedIn and Instagram profiles; those platforms have their own privacy policies.
6. Cookies
This website does not use analytics or advertising cookies. It may set a small number of cookies that are strictly necessary for it to work. If we ever add analytics or similar tools, we will update this policy first.
7. How long we keep it
We keep enquiries and correspondence only as long as we need them to respond to you, work with your organisation and meet our legal and accounting obligations. If we do not go on to work together, we delete enquiry details within 24 months of our last contact with you.
8. Where your data is stored
Our service providers may store and process data on servers outside India. Where this happens, we rely on the providers’ security and data protection commitments and on the rules that apply to such transfers under Indian law.
9. How we protect it
We use reasonable security measures, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections, access controls and reputable service providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and will notify you and the relevant authorities of a data breach where the law requires it.
10. Your rights
Under applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the right to:
- Ask what personal data we hold about you and how we use it
- Ask us to correct, complete or update it
- Ask us to delete it
- Withdraw your consent
- Nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of death or incapacity
- Raise a grievance with us
To exercise any of these rights, email jacqueline.jamasji@gmail.com. We will respond as soon as we reasonably can, and within the time limits set by law. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
11. Children
Our services are for organisations and working professionals. This website is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date at the top.
